In holotropic states of consciousness, there is ultimately only one person we ever work with - ourselves. Within Holotropic Breathwork this is true whether we are breathing, sitting, or facilitating. What changes in the role of facilitator is that the other person and their unfolding process become the center of our attention, while we simultaneously remain aware of our own inner experience. Learning to accompany another without losing ourselves, and without placing ourselves in the foreground, is one of the central arts of facilitation.
This module explores the unique relational field that emerges between breather, sitter and facilitator, as well as within the facilitation team itself. We will deepen our understanding of what it means to truly meet another person in an expanded state of consciousness while remaining grounded in presence, trust, humility and self-awareness.
At the heart of this module lies the development of discernment: learning when to simply be present, when to enter the experiential field of the breather, when to step back, and when to offer support. We will explore the different ways of meeting another person, through presence, energetic resonance, touch and verbal guidance, and cultivate the sensitivity to recognize which form of support is called for in each unique moment. We will also discover that facilitation is never an individual endeavor but unfolds within the intelligence of a well-attuned team, where meeting ourselves in the other includes both the breather and our fellow facilitators.
Throughout the module, we will continually return to four essential questions:
- What belongs to the breather?
- What belongs to me?
- What belongs to the field between us?
- What serves the unfolding of the process?
Together we will explore:
- Meeting the other in a Holotropic Breathwork setting, both on and off the mat.
- The shift from sitting to facilitating one's own breather: what it asks of us, and what new discernment it requires.
- Recognizing when and how to enter the experiential field of the breather, and when not to.
- Different ways of meeting and supporting the breather - through presence, energetic resonance, touch and verbal guidance - and developing the discernment to know when each is called for.
- The power of presence, attunement and authentic contact.
- The delicate balance between doing and doing not doing.
- Understanding different kinds of unfolding processes and how they call for different forms of support.
- The facilitator's own inner process: countertransference, resonance, projections and self-awareness as essential resources for safe facilitation.
- Trusting the inner healing wisdom while offering appropriate support, containment and guidance.
- The power of teamwork in facilitating complex processes.
- How to build a safe, attuned and supportive facilitation team.
- Recognizing common obstacles and pitfalls on the path of facilitation, both in meeting the breather and in working with fellow facilitators.
- Receiving an overview of and practicing various forms of conversations such as joint reflections, feedback, de-briefing, lessons learnt and peer supervision.
The module places a strong emphasis on experiential learning. During the Holotropic Breathwork sessions, trainees will have the opportunity to facilitate under the close supervision of experienced staff, receiving direct learning opportunities and guidance. Through practice, reflection, dialogue and group learning, participants gradually develop the confidence, sensitivity and discernment that cannot be acquired through theory alone.
This module is open to certified facilitators as well as trainees who have completed The Power Within (Bodywork) module and ideally have already begun apprenticing. It builds upon the embodied understanding of focused energy release work and introduces the distinctive facilitator stance that has evolved through decades of Holotropic Breathwork practice. - c/o Grof Transpersonal Training

From Perugia Airport: You can reach the venue by taking a Bus (there are several options at the airport), or a combo train + bus called Perugia Airlink, alternatively arranging for private transportation. Further details here: https://airport.umbria.it/en/home-en
From Rome Airport: To get to the venue from Rome Airport, you have the option of taking a train to the nearby train station Roma Termini heading to Assisi, (the journey by train takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes), and then proceed to the venue by taxi.
By Car: From Piazzale Matteotti continue towards "Porta Perlici", one of the gates of Assisi, then proceed on the state road 444 in the direction of Gualdo Tadino for about 6 km. At km 26 of the state road to be traveled (see indicator on the left side of the road that indicates every km of the state road) turn right and carefully follow the signs “Az. Agr. Le Case ”/Santuario Madonna dei Tre Fossi/ Località Bandita Cileni (blue sign). The venue is 1 km above the “Madonna dei 3 Fossi” sanctuary.

Payment Policy
The early bird price for the GTT Module is €950 inc.24% VAT. EARLY BIRDS DEAD LINE: 22nd of February, 2027
The regular price after the early bird is €1.150 inc.24% VAT
Participants from non-EU countries are exempt from the 24% VAT, which will be deducted from the total. Registered EU companies with a valid VAT number will receive an invoice without VAT if the VAT number only if is provided during registration. Retroactive changes are not possible.
Participants from Poland, Ukraine, and other low-income countries who are experiencing verifiable economic difficulties are eligible to request a reduced rate. Kindly contact us for further details only if you fall in this category.
Please note that hotel accommodation is not included in the seminar fee and must be paid directly to the venue in advanced.. Detailed information will be provided upon registration. Accommodation rates per person, per day, including full board (meals and lodging), are as follows:
- Single Room*: €135 per person
- Double Room: €115 per person
- Triple Room: €99 per person
When registration numbers are high, single rooms are subject to availability. Please note this during registration: we can only confirm single room assignments closer to the module date.
The price includes full board and generous coffee/tea breaks.
A deposit will be required to secure both the hotel booking and the seminar registration. Further details on the deposit amounts and payment instructions will be provided during the registration process.
Extra nights (before and/or after the module) can be booked by selecting the appropriate option in the registration form. All necessary information will be included in the confirmation email after registration.
Cancellation Policy
The non-refundable cancellation fee is always EUR 200,- for a GTT module.
If you cancel the module within 6 weeks before the course, the course fee minus the cancellation fee will not be refunded, but could be applied to any other module with Grof Transpersonal Training® in Europe. If you cancel the module within 14 days before the course you will not be eligible for a refund or transfer to another module, except in exceptional circumstances, which will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
If the organization should cancel the event due to any reason, the entire amount paid for the course will be refunded to the participants. Please note: The organisation will not take any responsibility for any additional expenses the cancellation may cause to the participant such as for example travel expenses.
